2025 Cadillac Optiq Now On Sale In The U.S.

Deliveries of the 2025 Cadillac Optiq are now underway in the U.S., providing customers with a battery electric luxury crossover positioned below the Cadillac Lyriq, which itself is positioned below the Vistiq, and Escalade IQ.

Offering a sporty, fresh design and numerous safety features, the 2025 Cadillac Optiq was developed using a lengthy creative process that included clay models, sketches, and other methods, before being unveiled in late May 2024.

The 2025 Cadillac Optiq features eye-catching styling, riding on large wheels with a fastback profile and sharply-swept A-pillars, which Cadillac Society Executive Editor, Alex Luft, isn’t a huge fan of – something he shared during a recent podcast episode (embedded above). Regardless, a set of vertically-oriented headlights are bookended by vertically-oriented lighting signatures, which flow into the hood.

The vehicle offers eight exterior paint colors, including just one no-charge color, Black Raven (color code GBA) plus a variety of extra-charge options priced as much as $1,225, plus a black-painted roof choice (color code 41T) offered for an optional $600.

Four trims are offered at launch, including Luxury 1, Sport 1, Luxury 2 and Sport 2. 2025 Optiq pricing, which Cadillac Society first revealed back in August 2024, starts at:

  • Luxury 1: $54,390
  • Sport 1: $54,990
  • Luxury 2: $56,590
  • Sport 2: $57,090

This means half of the model’s trims start under the $55,000 mark, while the official configurator is live online for builds.

The 2025 Cadillac Optiq also boasts an extensive list of standard safety features, many of which are present across all trim levels, including (production codes in parenthesis):

  • Forward Collision Alert (UEU)
  • Front Pedestrian and Bicyclist Braking (UKT)
  • Enhanced Automatic Emergency Braking (UGN)
  • Rear Cross Traffic Braking (UFB)
  • Reverse Automatic Braking (UVZ)
  • Blind Zone Steering Assist (UKI)
  • Buckle to Drive (T8Z)
  • Rear Seat Reminder (RSR)
  • Safety Alert Seat (HS1)
  • IntelliBeam automatic high beams (TQ5)

The Optiq is eligible for the $7,500 federal tax credit in the U.S., which recently-inaugurated President Trump will likely eliminate or reduce. In the U.S. and Canadian markets, the Optiq is propelled by a standard dual-motor all-wheel-drive powertrain developing 300 horsepower and 354 pound-feet of torque. Driving range per single charge is estimated at 300 miles.

The 2025 Optiq is built at the Ramos Arizpe plant in Mexico, making it the luxury marque’s first model built in Mexico in a decade.
