One of the perks of shelling out at least $340,000 for the 2025 Cadillac Celestiq is that its purchase grants buyers access to the exclusive Cadillac House at Vanderbilt in Warren, Michigan. Here, buyers are guided through the color, finish and material selection process for their specific Celestiq from start to finish. However, buyers don’t have to leave the Cadillac House at Vanderbilt for good once they’ve picked out colors and materials for their Celestiq – in fact, they can choose to take delivery of their vehicle on site, once it’s built.
Sources familiar with the matter told Cadillac Society that buyers can take delivery of their 2025 Cadillac Celestiq at the Cadillac House once their vehicle has been built. That’s not the only option for taking delivery, as Celestiq buyers can also choose to have their vehicle shipped to their preferred Cadillac dealership, perhaps one closer to home for customers who don’t live in Michigan.
The Cadillac House at Vanderbilt recently began welcoming Celestiq clients, giving them the opportunity to design their large ultra-lux sedan prior to the assembly process. Once colors and materials are chosen, the Celestiq is built almost entirely by hand at the GM Warren Technical Center, located on the same campus as the Cadillac House at Vanderbilt. Production of the ultra-luxury electric sedan began in January 2024, but as recently reported by Cadillac Society, the first customer units to be assembled will be designated 2025 models, not 2024s, as was initially expected.
The Cadillac Celestiq rides on a variant of the luxury marque’s BEV3 platform and harnesses a 111 kWh battery pack and a dual-motor all-wheel-drive propulsion system, which provides 300 miles of driving range on a single charge while delivering 600 horsepower and 640 pound-feet of torque.
