While production of the “regular” CT5 models has already begun at the Lansing Grand River plant, the high-performance Cadillac CT5-V has yet to start rolling off the assembly line. Initially, the hotted up CT5 was scheduled to start production on July 14th, 2024, but Cadillac Society has now learned that assembly of the high-performance luxury sedan has been pushed back and will start almost one week later.
According to sources familiar with the matter, assembly of the refreshed 2025 Cadillac CT5-V is now scheduled to start on July 22nd, 2024. As usual, please keep in mind that this date is tentative and subject to change at any time. Meanwhile, interested customers should note that the order books for the potent CT5-V opened on May 16th.
As a reminder, the 2025 Cadillac CT5-V was reworked for the latest model year, and now boasts a reworked front fascia. A new set of headlights, arranged in a stacked pattern with an uninterrupted vertical lighting signature along the outside of the fascia, are present and accounted for. A closer look at the headlights reveals a unique V-Series Mondrian pattern etching. Overall, the new front fascia features more aggressive proportions, with a lower and wider motif befitting of the high-performance luxury sedan.
The side profile and rear ends of the 2025 CT5-V are identical to their pre-refresh counterparts. Inside, however, the high-performance luxury sedan boast a new 33-inch color LED touchscreen infotainment display with Google services built in, lifted straight from the Lyriq and refreshed 2024 XT4.
Under the hood, the Cadillac CT5-V retains the luxury marque’s twin-turbocharged 3.0L V6 engine (production code LGY), good for 360 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque. Output is routed exclusively via Cadillac’s 10-speed automatic transmission, with a rear-wheel-drive configuration as standard, while all-wheel-drive is optional.
