The refreshed 2025 Cadillac CT5 is now arriving at dealerships, and Cadillac Society is bringing you a close look at the updated sedan in this live video and photo gallery.
This particular 2025 Cadillac CT5 is a Premium Luxury model coated in the striking Radiant Red Tintcoat (paint code GNT), which pairs nicely with the chrome grille surrounds, black upper grille mesh and lower slatted grille, all of which make up the luxury sedan’s refreshed front fascia. Note that the upper grille is wider on the refreshed model than on the outgoing model.
The new uninterrupted vertical Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) extend from the top of the front fender down either side of the front fascia. A new set of stacked LED headlamps give the luxury sedan’s fascia a new demeanor.
Beyond the changes associated with the headlights, the refreshed CT5 sees no changes to the side profile. Regardless, we can still see a set of bright multi-spoke alloy wheels carry the chrome theme to the vehicle’s profile, as do the chrome window surrounds (DLO trim) and door handle trim. Note that the refreshed CT5 retains the C-pillar “kink” that found some controversy upon the CT5’s reveal and launch for the 2020 model year.
Similarly, the rear of the refreshed CT5 doesn’t see any changes, and is identical to the 2024 model year.
This 2025 Cadillac CT5 sports the 550T badge out back, indicating that it harnesses the optional twin-turbocharged 3.0L V6 engine (production code LGY), which is rated at 335 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque. Power is routed by way of the 10-speed automatic transmission.
Inside, the refreshed 2025 Cadillac CT5 boasts notable changes. Its cockpit features a large, curved 33-inch LED color touchscreen lifted straight from the Lyriq and refreshed 2024 XT4. The new screen runs new infotainment software with Google built-in along with 5G connectivity in place of a 4G connection of the pre-refresh models.
Standard safety features bundled into the 2025 Cadillac CT5 include things like Blind Zone Steering Assist. Optional extras include more advanced features such as Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking, Traffic Sign Recognition and Intelligent Speed Assist, while Driver Attention Assist is included alongside the luxury marque’s semi-autonomous driver assist feature, Super Cruise.
As reminder, the 2025 Cadillac CT5 ditches the base Luxury trim, leaving Premium Luxury and Sport as the only trims for the “regular” CT5 range. That change results in a much higher starting price point than its 2024 model year counterpart. The refreshed 2025 Cadillac CT5 Premium Luxury and Sport began production at the Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan in May.

One of four new colors for the 2025 model year.
And it now represents the best value in its segment.
A curious sighting from a video of the Cadillac design studio.
