The Onyx Package is now available for the base 2025 Cadillac XT6 Luxury trim, Cadillac Society has learned. Prior to the 2025 model year, the Onyx Package could not be added to the entry-level Luxury trim, since it was available exclusively on the higher-tiered models in the luxury crossover’s lineup.
In addition to being offered on the 2025 Cadillac XT6 Luxury, the Onyx Package (production code PDB) is optional for the Premium Luxury trim, but it is not available for the Sport trim. Note that the Onyx Package still cannot be combined with the Bronze Accent Package (production code PDJ), Red Accent Package (production code PDK), or the Blue Accent Package (production code PDL).
Content and features included in the Onyx Package for the 2025 Cadillac XT6 is as follows:
- 20-inch Gloss Black wheels, LPO (S2K)
- Gloss Black rear bumper molding, LPO (5HR)
- Gloss Black rear fascia applique, LPO (VNI)
- Gloss Black front fascia applique, LPO (QJ5)
- Gloss Black grille, LPO (SJA)
- Gloss black grille trim, LPO (E5K)
- Gloss Black exhaust bezel, LPO (VMP)
- Gloss Black XT6 nameplate, LPO (RIK)
- Monochrome Cadillac emblems, LPO (SFZ)
At this time, pricing for the Onyx Package for the Luxury trim has not been revealed. However, it is priced at $5,295 for Premium Luxury models.
Other changes to optional packages for the 2025 Cadillac XT6 include the addition of Super Cruise to the Platinum Package (production code JSE). This package is optional on Premium Luxury and Sport trims, and is not available at all on the base Luxury trim, meaning that Super Cruise is not available for the XT6 Luxury, either.
As a reminder, there are two powertrain options for the 2025 Cadillac XT6. These are the naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 engine (production code LGX), rated at 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque, standard on Premium Luxury and Sport trims, and the turbocharged 2.0L I4 engine (production code LSY), rated at 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, available exclusively on the base Luxury trim.
