2024 Cadillac Lyriq Black-Painted Roof Available Again

The 2024 Cadillac Lyriq is offered in eight exterior paint colors, most of which can be paired with a Black-painted roof for a two-tone paint scheme. However, the Black roof was briefly unavailable on the luxury electric crossover, but now, Cadillac Society has learned that  the dark roof can once again be ordered on the 2024 Lyriq.

According to sources familiar with the matter, the Black-painted roof (production code 41T) is now available to order again on the 2024 Cadillac Lyriq Luxury 1, Sport 1, Luxury 2, Sport 2, Luxury 3 and Sport 3 trims as a $600 extra. It is not available at all on the base Tech trim. Prior to it being unavailable, the Black-painted roof was exclusively available on the Luxury 3 and Sport 3 trims.

The Black-painted roof can be paired with all 2024 Cadillac Lyriq colors except for Stellar Black Metallic (paint code GB8), which already has the black-painted roof as standard.

As a reminder, the 2024 Cadillac Lyriq rides on the luxury marque’s BEV3 platform, and production is handled at the Spring Hill plant in Tennessee for all markets except for China. The 2024 Cadillac Lyriq can be outfitted with a single Ultium Drive motor on the rear axle, while a second Ultium Drive motor can be mounted to the front axle, thereby facilitating all-wheel-drive.

Rear-wheel-drive grants an approximate driving range of 308 miles from a single charge, delivering 340 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque. Selecting all-wheel-drive grants 307 miles of driving range per charge, along with a much more potent 500 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque (for North American models).
