2025 Cadillac XT6 Platinum Package Adds Super Cruise, Night Vision

2025 Cadillac XT6 Platinum Package Adds Super Cruise, Night Vision

The 2025 Cadillac XT6 offers the optional Platinum Package for certain trim levels, and Cadillac Society has now learned that the bundle now includes Super Cruise, the luxury marque’s semi-autonomous driver assister feature.

The Platinum Package (production code JSE) now contains Super Cruise (production code UKL) and Night Vision (production code UV3). As a reminder, this package is optional on the 2025 Cadillac XT6 Premium Luxury and Sport trims.

Content included in the Platinum Package is as follows (relevant production codes listed in parentheses):

  • Super Cruise (UKL)
  • Night Vision (UV3)
  • Semi-Aniline Leather Seating with Chevron-Perforated inserts (all rows)
  • French stitched leather-wrapped horn pad/air bag cover
  • Modena leather-wrapped steering wheel
  • Leather-wrapped instrument panel, console and door trim
  • Sueded microfiber headliner
  • Front and rear premium carpeted floor mats (BB4)
  • Real-time damping suspension chassis (F45) (Premium Luxury only, included on Sport)
  • Performance suspension (FE5) (Premium Luxury only, included on Sport)

Note that the Sport trim of the 2025 XT6 Sport already includes the Real-time damping suspension chassis and Performance suspension as standard, which is why they are only added to the bundle for the XT6 Premium Luxury.

As was the case for the 2024 model year, in order to outfit the 2025 Cadillac XT6 with the Platinum Package, several packages must first be added. This includes the Technology Package (production code Y4N), the Driver Assist Package (production code Y66), the Security Cargo Shade (production code VGF) and the Premium headlamp system (production code UWN). It’s also important to note that the Semi-Aniline leather seats are only available in two specific interior colorways: Jet Black with Jet Black accents and Bronze Carbon Fiber trim (production code H2U), or Maple Sugar with Jet Black accents and Fineline Calico Wood trim (production code HMS).

Additionally, Super Cruise can only be ordered as a standalone option for Premium Luxury and Sport trims, and it’s not available at all on the base Luxury trim. Just like the 2024 model, Super Cruise requires the Technology Package, Driver Assist Package, Premium headlamp system, along with Real-time damping suspension package and Performance suspension for Premium Luxury models only.

As of this writing, pricing for the 2025 Cadillac XT6 – and subsequently, the Platinum Package – is not yet available, but considering 2024 XT6 pricing for the Platinum Package, Super Cruise, Night Vision, as well as the other required options and packages, it adds up to $13,590 for Premium Luxury and $12,650 for Sport.

Note that the 2025 Cadillac XT6 will not be able to take advantage of the latest Super Cruise capabilities. This is because the Cadillac XT6 does not utilize the luxury marque’s Global B electrical architecture. Instead, the XT6 uses the previous generation, known as Global A, which is less advanced and not as powerful when it comes to processing speed and power.

  1. I currently have a 2024 XT6 Premium Luxury with the Platinum Package, but it is not equipped with Super Cruise…I don’t need Super Cruise or want it and certainly don’t want to pay for it. When my lease is up on 2.5 years, if I can’t get an XT6 Premium Luxury Platinum without Super Cruise, I’ll either buy my car out of the lease and keep it or lease an Audi or BMW. I would hate to switch brands after 45 years and 20 Cadillacs, but if Cadillac doesn’t offer what I want, I’ll be forced to shop elsewhere.

  2. Since the XT6 is on the Global A and not the Global B Architecture is that the reason why it has not received the same refresh as the XT4? If so then go ahead and upgrade the electrical architecture to Global B and give it the same refresh as the XT4! I would also give it the new 2.5 Turbo engine! If this is the last ICE 3rd row Cadillac Crossover then give it a premium Cadillac refresh, it still looks good on the outside!
