Just 21 examples of the super-exclusive 2024 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing 20th Anniversary Special Edition were produced, making it a hot commodity for fans of both Cadillac and ultra-high-performance vehicles alike. While all 21 bespoke super sedans are already spoken for, the very first example to roll off the assembly line is currently listed for sale at a Cadillac dealer in Michigan.
This special 2024 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is listed at Suburban Cadillac of Plymouth, dressed in an eye-catching coat of Chartreuse Metallic paint (although the listing erroneously states that its exterior color is Black Raven). It rolls on a set of 19-inch alloy wheels and sports a sunroof. The ultra-high-performance sedan’s venomous green exterior is paired with a more subtle black-and-white interior emphasized by red stitching and red seatbelts, along with heated and ventilated bucket seats up front, and a 16-speaker AKG Premium stereo.
It also features the Carbon Fiber 1 and Carbon Fiber 2 packages, a 20th Anniversary grille header decal, as well as a distinct cluster wakeup animation that welcomes the driver every time they start the super sedan up. Other handy features include the Advanced Security Package, Driver Awareness Plus Package, Parking Package, and Lighting Package.
The Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing harnesses the 6.2L V8 engine (production code LT4), rated at 668 horses and 659 pound-feet of torque. Offered exclusively in rear-wheel-drive, this super sedan features the standard six-speed manual transmission.
All 2024 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing 20th Anniversary Special Edition units underwent an extensive 200-hour hand-painting process at the Milford Proving Grounds before being shipped to the Artisan Innovation Center at the GM Global Technical Center in Warren, Michigan. Once there, the super sedans spent 250 to 300 hours in the extensive build and quality check process. Customers were able to choose almost every aspect of their CT5-V Blackwing, right down to caliper and wheel cap colors.
The seller lists this 2024 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing at a cool $144,975. For reference, the 20th Anniversary Special Edition package added $36,000 to the overall cost of the super sedan, which starts at $94,890 in “regular” (non 20th Anniversary) guise.
