These 2024 Cadillac XT6 Gloss Black Wheels Are Currently Unavailable To Order

The 2024 Cadillac XT6 is offered with a bevy of wheel options, although one of them is now unavailable to order, Cadillac Society has learned.

Having become unavailable in December 2023, the wheels in question are the 20-inch Gloss Black wheels (production code S2K), which are included with the Sport trim when equipped with the Red Accent PackageBlue Accent Package, or Bronze Accent Package. When available, the wheels are priced at $2,995 per set.

The Gloss Black wheels are also part of the Onyx and Onyx Lite packages, available on all trim levels, including Luxury, Premium Luxury and Sport. At this time, it’s not clear why the wheels are unavailable, or when / if they could be offered again.

It’s worth noting that the Red, Blue and Bronze Accent Packages are also currently unavailable to order for the 2024 Cadillac XT6, as are the Onyx and Onyx Lite Packages. While Cadillac did not specify its reasoning for pulling these options from its order books, it’s likely due to the unavailability of the Gloss Black wheels. As with the wheels themselves, it’s not clear when, or if, the packages will become available to order again.

The 2024 Cadillac XT6 doesn’t bring any groundbreaking changes to the luxury crossover. That means that the current engine lineup remains in place, consisting of two options. The first is the naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 engine (production code LGX), rated at 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque, standard on Premium Luxury and Sport trims. The second is the turbocharged 2.0L I4 engine (production code LSY), rated at 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque and included exclusively with the base Luxury trim.

Production of the 2024 Cadillac XT6 commenced in June 2023 at the Spring Hill plant in Tennessee, where it is assembled for all markets except China.
