The 2024 Cadillac XT4 brings the long-awaited mid-cycle refresh to the small luxury crossover, boasting an updated exterior, interior and a slew of new tech features. Cadillac Society recently had the opportunity to check it out in person, giving us an up close and personal look at the changes.
This particular example is the 2024 Cadillac XT4 Premium Luxury, identifiable by its chrome exterior accents, such as the window and grille surrounds, door handles and roof rails. These elements contrast nicely with the Stellar Black Metallic (paint code GB8) exterior, which is an extra-cost option with a $625 price tag. At the corners are the optional 20-inch Dynamic 7-Spoke alloy wheels with the Diamond Cut/Medium Android finish (production code Q7R), which cost $1,100 to add to the 2024 Cadillac XT4.
Up front, the 2024 Cadillac XT4 features an overhauled front end, featuring a refreshed grille and bright LED headlights, which are arranged in the luxury marque’s signature vertical lighting design. The rear end has features some small changes, including the vertically-oriented reflectors as well as a redone dual exhaust treatment.
Perhaps the most notable update, however, pertains to the luxury crossover’s interior. The cockpit of the 2024 Cadillac XT4 was overhauled and now features a generous 33-inch high-resolution LED color touchscreen display spanning the gauge cluster and center stack. For those keeping track, the screen is lifted directly from the Cadillac Lyriq. This particular example features the Oxford Stone/Jet Black leather seats with Fineline Calico high-gloss genuine wood trim (production code H0Y) interior colorway, complementing its black exterior.
Under the hood, the 2024 Cadillac XT4 continues with the current model’s single engine choice: the turbocharged 2.0L I4 gasoline engine (production code LSY). The boosted gasoline four-cylinder is rated at 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, and is mated to the luxury marque’s nine-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel-drive is standard, while all-wheel-drive is optional for a premium.
Production of the 2024 Cadillac XT4, which rides on the luxury marque’s E2 platform, takes places at the Fairfax plant in Kansas for North America.
