The 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ was revealed a few months back, carrying the Escalade torch into the luxury marque’s all-electric future. The electric luxury SUV features Caddy’s signature styling from nose to tail, including its striking front “grille”, which technically is a blockout panel with a unique LED pattern. Despite the Escalade IQ being a battery electric vehicle, it still has air intakes at the front, positioned just below the LED grille. The placement of these intakes lower into the front fascia makes the Escalade IQ’s upper LED grille rather stout. Wondering what the new Escalade IQ would look like with a larger grille, we put our rendering skills to use.
Production-intent 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ
To give the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ a larger grille, we pushed the lower part of the grille even lower, eliminating the prominent air intakes present on the production-intent model. We also borrowed the bold LED pattern from the Cadillac Lyriq, with bright lighting elements outlining the gloss black display, framing the monochromatic Cadillac emblem affixed to the center.

To allow our imaginary 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ to breathe, we kept the lowermost openings while eliminating the larger ones just above it. However, in our opinion, this gives the Escalade IQ a more streamlined, finished look, rather than the industrial-utilitarian feel created by the large lower grille intake, which is a look typical of gasoline-powered vehicles, not EVs.
Interestingly, the large grille opening seems to have been part of the plan since the early days of the Escalade IQ’s design, as evidenced by a series of concept sketches released by the luxury marque after the luxury electric SUV was revealed.
