A substantial refresh is on deck for the fifth-generation 2025 Cadillac Escalade lineup, including the high-performance Cadillac Escalade-V. In fact, Cadillac Society recently spied a refreshed Escalade-V ESV prototype undergoing testing concealing its various changes behind healthy amounts of camouflage, right down to its 24-inch wheels.
The finer points of this 2025 Cadillac Escalade-V ESV are hidden behind heavy vinyl camouflage, obscuring its updated front fascia, which will incorporate redesigned lighting arrangements. As the range-topping model from a performance standpoint, the Escalade-V will feature more aggressive styling bits than its “regular”, non-V counterparts. Tthough the specifics are hidden behind the camo seen on this prototype, this treatment will certainly set it apart from the herd.
The body-hugging (black and white) camo cladding the rear quarter panels and rear end of this 2025 Escalade-V prototype indicate that there aren’t any major changes on the way for the high-performance SUV in those areas, although the heavy camo around the taillights suggests an updated design underneath. Additionally, the 24-inch wheels are also wrapped in camo, concealing their six-spoke design. These wheels will be all-new for the refreshed model.
As for what’s in store for the 2025 Cadillac Escalade interior, it will boast a generous edge-to-edge display panel, taking after the Cadillac Celestiq ultra-luxury electric sedan and the all-electric Escalade IQ.
The Cadillac Escalade-V is the most powerful vehicle ever produced by the luxury marque, thanks to the supercharged 6.2L V8 engine (production code LT4) under the hood. Currently, this engine produces 682 horsepower and 653 pound-feet of torque in the Escalade-V, and we don’t expect these figures to change. The supercharged eight bolts to Cadillac’s 10-speed automatic transmission, sending power to all four wheels via an active all-wheel-drive system.
