2024 Cadillac XT6 Gets New Red Accent Package

The 2024 Cadillac XT6 is not notably different from its 2023 model year counterpart, aside from some minor changes to its exterior paint color lineup. It does, however, introduce a handful of new exterior accent packages, including the Blue Accent Package, Bronze Accent Package and Red Accent Package. Let’s take a closer look at the Red Accent Package.

The Red Accent Package (production code PDK) is an LPO-level (dealer-installed) package that costs $2,995. It’s only available on the 2024 Cadillac XT5 Sport trim, and is not offered on the Luxury and Premium Luxury trims. The Red Accent Package includes the following elements (relevant production codes listed in parentheses):

  • Red body decal, LPO (SB9)
  • Monochrome Cadillac emblems, LPO (SFZ)
  • 20-inch Gloss Black wheels, LPO (S2K)
  • Red wheel center cap, LPO (5ZD)
  • Black wheel lug nuts, LPO (SPY)
  • Black wheel locks, LPO (SPZ)
  • Tire Pressure Monitor, LPO (SD5)

The Gloss Black wheels included in this package replace the standard 20-inch 12-Spoke Diamond Cut alloy wheels with Dark Android Satin finish pockets (production code Q6N) typically included with the XT6 Sport.

The Red Accent Package cannot be combined with the Onyx Package (production code PDB) or Onyx Lite Package (production code PCP), both of which are optional on the 2024 Cadillac XT6.

As a reminder, XT6 production takes place at the Spring Hill plant in Tennessee for all markets except for China, and assembly of the 2024 model year commenced in June 2023. The vehicle’s engine lineup consists of two engine options: the naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 engine (production code LGX), rated at 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque, standard on Premium Luxury and Sport trims; and the turbocharged 2.0L I4 engine (production code LSY), rated at 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, available exclusively on the base Luxury trim.
