After the 2023 model year, the first-generation Cadillac XT4 will receive a mid-cycle refresh. Initially scheduled for the 2022 model year, the refresh was first pushed back to the 2023 model year and then to the 2024 model year due to setbacks stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic after. We spied a prototype of the 2024 Cadillac XT4 for the first time in June. Then in September, we spotted a prototype that better showed the all-new front fascia design.
The 2019 thru 2023 Cadillac XT4 features one drivetrain option in North America – the turbocharged 2.0L I4 engine (production code LSY), rated at 235 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. It bolts to Cadillac’s nine-speed automatic transmission.
XT4 production takes place at the Cadillac Fairfax Plant in Kansas. The 2023 Cadillac XT4 began rolling off the assembly line on June 10th, 2022.
