The 2023 Cadillac CT5 will no longer offer the Diamond Sky Special Edition package, Cadillac Society has learned.
Offered for the 2021 and 2022 model years, the Diamond Sky Special Edition package is only available on the Cadillac CT5 Premium Luxury trim.
The package includes the following content (relevant production codes listed in parentheses):
Buyers could also opt to replace the standard 19-inch wheels with a set of 20-inch alloy wheels finished in Polished/Dark Android Gloss (production code Q7N).
The Diamond Sky Special Edition package for the Cadillac CT5 is priced at $2,800. However, it also requires the $1,090 Climate Package, bringing the total cost to $3,890. Production of the 2023 Cadillac CT5, which will no longer offer the Diamond Sky Special Edition package, is scheduled to begin on July 18th, 2022.
The Cadillac CT5 Premium Luxury trim is equipped with the turbocharged 2.0L I4 engine (production code LSY) as standard, which is capable of 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. These models wear the 350T badge on the decklid. The twin-turbocharged 3.0L V6 engine (production code LGY) is also available as an optional upgrade, rated at 335 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque. These models are given the 550T badge. The luxury marque’s 10-speed automatic transmission is equipped as standard along with rear-wheel-drive, with all-wheel-drive being an available option. The CT5 rides on Cadillac’s Alpha 2 platform, and is built at the Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan.
It’s also worth noting that the CT5’s smaller relative, the Cadillac CT4, will also drop the Diamond Sky package for the 2023 model year.
