The 2022 Cadillac CT4 is no longer available to order with the luxury marque’s semi-autonomous Super Cruise feature, Cadillac Society has learned.
First introduced on the CT4 for the 2020 model year, Super Cruise offers hands-free driving during extended road trips on select North American highways. When it was available, Super Cruise was offered on units of the 2022 CT4 with Premium Luxury, Sport, and CT4-V trim levels, but not on the base Luxury trim or the range-topping CT4-V Blackwing. However, the feature now has been stripped from all trim levels and is completely unavailable for the remainder of the 2022 model year.
Super Cruise was offered as part of two packages, which the customer/dealer selected upon ordering the vehicle. The first one, Super Cruise 1, included the following content (relevant production codes in parentheses):
The Super Cruise 1 Package added $3,600 to the price of the 2022 Cadillac CT4, and required that the Climate Package (production code Y6F) also be equipped.
The second package containing the advanced driver assist feature was the Super Cruise 2 Package, which added the following to the CT4:
The Super Cruise 2 Package cost $7,600 when added to units of the 2022 Cadillac CT4 with Premium Luxury trim, $7,500 when equipped on the Sport trim, and $8,000 for the CT4-V. If the package was equipped on a Premium Luxury model featuring the turbocharged 2.7L I4 engine (production code L3B, designated by the 500T badge on the rear decklid), all-wheel-drive (production code F46) was also required.
As of this writing, it’s not clear why Super Cruise was made unavailable for the 2022 CT4, but we imagine the change to be related to ongoing supply constrains. We expect the feature to return for the 2023 model year as the ongoing global microchip shortage situation continues to improve. Additionally, Super Cruise is also gone from the 2022 Cadillac CT5, as we reported in March.

One of four new colors for the 2025 model year.
And it now represents the best value in its segment.
