The all-electric Cadillac Lyriq crossover is set to make its big public reveal at the 2021 Shanghai Auto Show in China later this month.
The Cadillac Lyriq first broke cover in near-production “show car” form last August during a virtual livestream event. The Lyriq show car is considered to be 80 to 85 percent representative of the final production vehicle’s appearance, and presents with futuristic styling characterized by crisp, angular lines and taut features.
“We are pleased to give the public the opportunity to see the next chapter of Cadillac’s future in the amazing Lyriq show car,” said Vice President of Cadillac in China, Felix Weller. “Most of its features, including the new design and groundbreaking technologies, will appear on future models. But as exciting as its photos look, the Lyriq is even more impressive when you see it in person.”
The new Cadillac Lyriq is the luxury marque’s very-first all-electric model, and will feature the third-generation BEV3 electric vehicle platform, as well as Ultium battery technology. The Lyriq will come as standard with RWD and a single-rear mounted electric motor, as well as a 33-inch curved LED display screen inside the cabin. Further highlights include an exclusive AKG Studio stereo, a dual-plane augmented reality head-up display, and the Super Cruise semi-autonomous driver assist system.
The Cadillac Lyriq show car will be on display at the 2021 Auto Shanghai show between April 19th and April 28th. When it goes on sale, the Lyriq will be sold in both the North American and Chinese markets.

The Cadillac Lyriq is a “Stunning” car!! Put a gas powered V8 under the hood and I’ll buy it in a heart beat !!!

Instead of doing that, get a CT5-V with the Blackwing engine.
