A pricing analysis performed by Cadillac Society reveals that the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) of the 2021 Cadillac XT5 is slightly lower than it was for the 2020 model year of the midsize luxury crossover. The difference is admittedly very small – $43, or 0.08 percent – and it has been caused entirely by a moderate price drop on the entry-level Luxury trim.
The MSRP of the FWD Luxury 350T has fallen by $100 from $45,090 to $44,990, while the AWD version now costs $46,990, a decrease of $200 compared to the previous $47,190.
However, the Cadillac XT5 Premium Luxury 350T and Premium Luxury 400, in both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive forms, and the Sport 400, which is available exclusively in AWD, are all priced exactly the same for the 2021 model year as they were for 2020.

The average savings across the entire range is just over $40, which is hardly significant when the most affordable 2021 Cadillac XT5 costs over a thousand times more than that, but at least it’s nice to know that the prices haven’t gone up.
The Cadillac XT5 went on sale in the spring of 2016 as a 2017 model year car, replacing the second-generation Cadillac SRX. For the 2021 model year, Cadillac added wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard, added a new 20-inch wheel option, removed the up-charge associated with the Satin Steel Metallic exterior color and replaced the power tilt and telescoping steering column on Luxury models with a manual one.
The two engines available for the 2021 Cadillac XT5 are the turbocharged 2.0L I4 gasoline engine (production code LSY), rated at 230 horsepower and 258 pound-feet, as well as the naturally-aspirated 3.6L V6 (production code LGX) with 308 horsepower and 270 pound-feet. Whichever engine is fitted, all versions have a nine-speed automatic transmission.
