Recently, we told you about the changes in store for the 2019 Cadillac ATS Coupe. And now, we have the scoop on the changes and updates for the 2019 ATS-V.
First and foremost is the deletion of the ATS-V Sedan, which was to be expected given the discontinuation of the ATS Sedan after the 2018 model year. As such, the deletion of the ATS-V Sedan means that the 2019 ATS-V will be offered exclusively in the two-door coupe body style. Notably, discontinuing the ATS and ATS-V Sedans enables Cadillac to retool the Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan to produce the upcoming Cadillac CT5.
From there, the 2019 ATS-V loses two exterior colors while gaining one new one:

Moreover, the 2019 ATS-V deletes two LPO features: the Winter Protection Package and the Vehicle Cover. LPO, or Limited Production Option, is a feature that can be ordered with the vehicle by a dealer and shipped to it with the vehicle for installation. The item can also be purchased by a customer at the dealer as an accessory.
Finally, the ATS-V Championship Edition package is deleted. Introduced for the 2018 ATS-V to celebrate Cadillac’s success in the IMSA racing series, the package included:
And that concludes the changes and updates for the 2019 Cadillac ATS-V, or more appropriately, the 2019 Cadillac ATS-V Coupe.
We expect that 2019 will be the final year of ATS production, as Cadillac gears up to launch the 2020 Cadillac CT5, which will replace both the ATS and CTS lines.
