2019 Cadillac Escalade: New Exterior Colors, Sport Package, Hands-Free Liftgate

The current, fourth-generation Escalade has served Cadillac very well since its introduction for the 2015 model year. And for the 2019 model year, the family of full-size SUVs is getting a few small updates to keep it fresh until the all-new, fifth-gen model arrives for the 2020 model year.

New Colors

Two existing colors are replaced with two new ones:

Deleted Colors

  • Midnight Sky Metallic
  • Dark Granite Metallic

New Colors

  • Manhattan Noir Metallic (1)
  • Shadow Metallic (2)

Color Availability Legend

  1. Manhattan Noir Metallic:
    • Promotional color
    • Available to order late Q4
    • Available at extra charge, with no additional charge on Platinum models
  2. Shadow Metallic
    • Available at extra charge, with no additional charge on Platinum models

New Sport Package

There’s also a new Sport Package, which includes:

  • Black Ice Chrome on front grille/grille header
  • Lower fascia trim, bodyside molding and rear applique
  • Black gloss DLO
  • Unique finish wheels:
    • Luxury and Premium Luxury trim levels get 22-inch, dual 7-spoke alloy wheels with Ultra Bright Machined/High-Gloss Black finish
    • Platinum trim levels get 22-inch, dual 9-spoke alloy wheels with Midnight Silver finish

The package is available on Luxury, Premium Luxury and Platinum models with the following colors:

  • Crystal White Tricoat
  • Satin Steel Metallic
  • Radiant Silver Metallic
  • Black Raven

However, order guides state that the package is no longer available – meaning that it has likely already been built out or canceled.

New Hands-Free Liftgate

Lastly, there is a hands-free liftgate with logo light that is added as a standard feature to all Escalade models and trim levels.

And that does it for the updates and changes to the 2019 Cadillac Escalade and Escalade ESV, which will likely be the last year of the fourth-gen model, as an all-new Escalade is expected for the 2020 model year.

The updates and changes described herein are specific to the U.S. market and may be different for other markets.
