Here Are All The Exterior Colors Of The 2020 Cadillac CT5

Updated 10/29/2019: We reached out to Cadillac about the orange color seen with the debut of the Cadillac CT5-V. According to Cadillac spokesperson Tara Kuhnen, the orange color will be offered for ordering later this year. Check out our complete coverage here.

The all-new 2020 Cadillac CT5 is available in eleven exterior colors. That much we already knew from a few months ago. But what we didn’t know is how those colors will look on the vehicle, until now.

The eleven exterior colors are:

    • Crystal White Tricoat
    • Velocity Red
    • Red Obsesion Tintcoat
    • Satin Steel Metallic
    • Summit White
    • Black Raven
    • Evergreen Metallic
    • Shadow Metallic
    • Wave Metallic
    • Garnet Metallic
    • Dark Moon Metallic

All 2020 Cadillac CT5 colors are extra-cost hues with the exception of the new Summit White and Black Raven, which are the only colors that don’t carry an additional surcharge.

Additionally, the availability of the colors varies between the different CT5 trim levels, which include Luxury, Premium Luxury, Sport, and CT5-V. For instance, Summit White is available for all models except the CT5-V, while Velocity Red can only be had on Sport and CT5-V models.

  1. What is the difference between the two shades of white?

    • Crystal White Tricoat is, as the name implies, a multi-layer process which also includes a metallic component. Since they don’t charge extra for it, Summit White is likely a single pigment non-metallic.

      • This is the same as the classic “Pearl White” that Cadillac has for decades. The original paint color was made with real crushed pearls!

  2. why don’t they offer the metallic bronze color when they show it in all their promotional material?

    • We just learned that this color will be added later for the 2020 model year. Stay tuned.

  3. Anyone else disappointed to see white diamond and black diamond tricoat not make a return

    • Crystal White Tricoat should do the trick for those looking for a metallic white. That said, the absence of a metallic black is puzzling.

    • They should be in showrooms by the end of the year.

  5. I am very glad to see that Cadillac is offering Summit white on the CT5. I will probably order mine in that color. If only they offered a red or deep rich burgundy interior to go with it. I had a white 91 Seville with a dark red leather interior…it was stunning !!!

  6. I also plan to get a CT5V BW in white. Mainly because I live in Texas. White is cooler in the heat than darker colors. I can’t wait until the BW version is available so that I can have a radio that works. The failed CUE in my ATS-V is making my head explode.

    • Is the screen delaminating or is it some other issue(s). Just curious.

  9. Dark moon metallic looks like a navy blue. Love the bronze/copper too.
