PS If you own a Cadillac now is a great time to sell or trade in. My XT6 cost me $60,000, with the extended warrantee. I got $52,000 plus $2,400 refund for the warrantee. That’s the best trade-in I’ve ever heard of. I only had the XT6 for about a year and a half and don’t drive much. I bought a pickup truck to drive while I wait on the Lyriq and will keep it. With used at an all-time high trade-in I couldn’t resist.
smithlarrywParticipantI talked to Cadillac there is no heads=up on the windshield but the 31″ display does about the same here is what they said:
1 Adaptive Cruse Control
2 Pedestrian alert
3 Rain sensing wipers
4 Lane Keeping
5 collision alert
6 Adaptive head lights
7 will have self-driving on a later software update. My XT6 had most of these so I called to see if the Lyriq was the same
smithlarrywParticipantTaking my XT6 in Friday to get the software reloaded. Can’t get the sound system to work correctly and it’s Apple car play is acting up. I hope the software reload will help. I have a Iphone and an Ipod and they just will not work properly.
smithlarrywParticipantI’ve been trying to get my Ipod to work without taking up the only phone slot. I looked at the users manual and in one place it states the usb ports are for charging and no data port is in the XT6. In another place in the manual it states there are data ports. Right now I have the Ipod paired using bluetooth and can listen to music. However, I can’t have my phone on at the same time. I just got an adapter for regular usb to type c. Maybe the type c port is a data port. I’ll let you know if it works. If you don’t know the difference between the two types of ports a nondata port only charges a device, a data port charges and reads the device to be played through the cars system. If I moved my music to my phone that might also work.
