DocParticipant
I’m glad you provided this info on using the Tesla Supercharging Station. It’s good to hear there were no issues using this facility. I wonder if GM/Cadillac will (now) provide new Lyriq users with the choice of applying their $1500 EV Charging option (for home-based EV charger installation or highway EV charging) towards use of The Tesla Supercharging Stations vs. the current charging vendor’s highway charging equipment. I would also like to ask if any current Lyriq owners have a Tesla Universal EV Charger (which the $1500 EV install option does not cover) installed at their home and if so, have there been any issues with the equipment? I have my 2025 Lyriq order in and I’m waiting for word on the build schedule.
DocParticipantHas any perspective Lyriq owner researched whether they can get the required circuit breaker and wiring pre-installed by a non Qmerit, licensed electrician so that all that needs to be done once their ordered Lyriq arrives is to purchase The charger and get it installed (again by a non-Qmerit, licensed electrician)? Once the dealer provides the buyer with the $1500 credit (hopefully converted to a cash payment), the buyer would have a reimbursement in hand that would cover the cost of a timely installation. This would ensure that the charging station is in place when you drive your new Lyriq to its new garage-home.
DocParticipantCONGRATULATIONS!!!! I am anxiously waiting for my 2024 LYRIQ Reservation to transition to an actual order. It’s exciting to hear that you have persevered through the entire process and you are actually behind the wheel of your LYRIQ. It is good to hear that the VOSS VILLAGE Cadillac dealership is not applying any markups on the LYRIQ. I have done business with them for 12 yrs and they have been truthful and transparent with all of their business. ENJOY YOUR NEW RIDE!!!!
