I have misplaced my letter regarding the reimbursement. I have had both headlights replaced previously and have the receipts. I believe the deadline for submission is tomorrow 5/29. Does anybody know how I can get a replacement letter or the information, where to submit my claim?

    Thanks!

My headlamps have been dim on my SRX for some time now. I had them both replaced, and they went dim again. I got a letter in the mail about the recall, but misplaced it, and now you can barely see my lights at night.

Your local dealer should be able to help you.

Will local dealers replace these headlamps for no charge?

I too sent in my receipts on the headlamp replacement and paid cash and some of my invoices did not have the VIN number from the dealership. I was told I was denied for this reason and to send in new receipts with the VIN on it. How do I get the dealership to add the VIN to these receipts? Why does Cadillac Division not understand the receipts and information submitted?

I just spent two weeks trying to determine if I would be reimbursed and the answer was NO. They stated they were not paying for any repairs after June 30, 2020. It was horrible dealing with a third party call center where I spoke to pothead Juan who said they were no longer handling the matter so then I got to speak to the Cadillac call center in the Phillipines where language was a barrier.
I got the letter on February 26th and it said it had to be completed by the end of May. It is a reimbursement program not a recall. I don’t know why it isn’t a recall. They didn’t have parts and NJ was in pandemic lockdown by the governor. The dealership said the cost will be about $1450.00. My first and last Caddy. GM replacement parts are $666.62 each plus labor. I am looking at CAPA replacements with RockAuto for about $587 for both +tx and shipping, then install. I miss Oldsmobile.

file a claim in small claims court for the full $1600 reimbursement and make them show up or you will get a judgement against gm.

Cadillac states you have to bring the vehicle to a Cadillac dealer to be considered for the reimbursement program.
We brought our SRX in in May in the height of the pandemic. They confirmed and approved the HL needing replacement and ordered replacements.
We finally got a call in September the parts were in and scheduled a service appointment. We paid the $1800 bill and mailed in the reimbursement form.
We got the check in December. A pretty lengthy process but in the end we got reimbursed

I keep seeing that the recall or reimbursement only covers the 2010 – 2015 Cadillac SRX, but I own a 2016 and have the same problems with the headlights. Can I get the reimbursement or will there be a recall on these lights? I need to know ASAP, because I’m tired of driving with my high beam lights on!!!!!!
