The Cadillac Society Take
The solid increase in Cadillac sales during the second quarter fuels the luxury marque’s growth trajectory in the U.S. market, where it has now seen four consecutive quarters of growth. Notably, Cadillac was the leader in luxury electric vehicles during Q2 and recorded its best retail market share since 2014. In fact, the marque also posted its best-ever sales of electric vehicles, V-Series models and crossovers in the United States during the first half of 2025.
Most Cadillac models were in the green during Q2, led by the successful Cadillac Escalade, which continues to drive the brand forward to consolidate its position as the best-selling luxury full-size SUV in United States. The iconic utility vehicle posted its best-ever second quarter and first half of the year sales since 2007 thanks to the healthy demand for the refreshed 2025 model. Meanwhile, the all-new Escalade IQ notched its second full quarter of sales as a pioneer in the zero-emission full-size SUV segment.
In addition to healthy increases for the Cadillac XT5, XT6, and CT5, the luxury marque saw strong initial demand for new battery electric models like the Cadillac Optiq and Cadillac Vistiq. The Vistiq three-row crossover recorded its first deliveries during Q2, strengthening the brand’s presence in the midsize three-row utility segment with cutting-edge design and technologies. The Cadillac Lyriq suffered a decline from last year’s record-breaking second quarter but maintains significant volume as the brand’s best-selling electric model.

I own a 2024 Lyric S1.
My buddy just took delivery of a Vistiq Sport.
I’m thoroughly impressed with the Visitq. They took the best of Lyriq and improved upon.
He’s had it three days and falls deeper in love with it.
Effectively it has the Lyriq-V powertrain with a 90% scale of the Escalade.
Rides smoothly, quietly and easily.
It will be a hit!
