Deliveries of the 2026 Cadillac Lyriq-V are now officially underway. Those interested haven’t been waiting long, as production began at Spring Hill Assembly in Tennessee at the end of March. Even so, it’s a rather historic feat for the automaker, as the Lyriq-V represents the luxury marque’s first all-electric high-performance V-Series model. It also just so happens to be the quickest production Cadillac vehicle ever.
For reference, the Lyriq-V makes up to 615 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque, an increase of 100 horsepower and 200 pound-feet of torque compared to the regular Lyriq with the all-wheel drivetrain setup. The extra gusto enables the Lyriq-V to sprint from 0 to 60 mph in about 3.3 seconds.
All of that extra power is complemented by refined handling, which includes standard Continuous Damping Control (CDC) suspension specifically calibrated for the Lyriq-V, plus a ride height that’s 16 mm lower, and a quicker steering ratio. The components come together to create a unique expression of Cadillac’s signature Isolated Precision ethos, which aims to offer effortless driving experience that’s quiet and smooth yet tactile.
Other performance highlights include a Brembo brake system fitted with 15.35-inch rotors in the front and 13.6-inch rotors in the rear. The standard 22-inch wheels are wrapped in 275/40R22 summer tires, though all-season tires are available for those who intend to drive their 2026 Cadillac Lyriq-V year-round live in areas where summer-only tires are not a viable option.
The Lyriq-V is offered in two trims: a base trim, which starts at $80,090, and the better-equipped Premium trim, which starts at $85,290. Both prices include a destination freight charge of $1,495. Power output is the same regardless of configuration, as is the 102 kilowatt-hour battery pack, which provides a Cadillac-estimated 285 miles of driving range per charge. Notably, DC fast charging (DCFC) can replenish 75 miles of driving range in just 10 minutes.
Of course, the mechanical hardware isn’t the only aspect that differentiates the 2026 Cadillac Lyriq-V from the regular Lyriq. The V model also offers more standard features as well as distinct exterior styling queues when compared to the tamer, non-V model. Such improvements include more aggressive exterior components, including optional carbon fiber accents, unique tweaks to the interior, including the steering wheel with a sport rim and sculpted hand grips, V-Series logo, a standout V-Mode button, and an aluminum Regen On Demand paddle, plus standard Super Cruise.
