After a teaser in late 2023, Cadillac has officially revealed the 2026 Cadillac Vistiq, a three-row electric crossover SUV that slots between the Lyriq and Escalade IQ in the luxury marque’s growing EV portfolio.
Though it’s based on the same BEV3 platform as the Lyriq and shares a lot of the underpinnings, including the Lyriq’s wheelbase, the Vistiq is equipped with several unique features that set it apart from the Lyriq.
Cadillac Society’s very own Alex Luft went to Detroit last month for a briefing on the 2026 Cadillac Lyriq, and he shares the full details as well as his thoughts on the Cadillac Society Podcast above.
The 2026 Vistiq uses the same 102-kilowatt-hour battery pack as the Lyriq. It powers a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup good for 615 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of near-instant torque. Cadillac claims a 0-60 time of just 3.7 seconds with Velocity Max engaged. Driving range on a single charge is 300 miles. The Vistiq also comes equipped with Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) Bidirectional charging capabilities that enable the model to power a home during a blackout (so long as the home is properly equipped with GM Energy’s V2H Bundle).
With a DC Fast Charger (DCFC), the Vistiq is capable of adding up to 79 miles of range in about ten minutes. On a 240-volt (7.7 kW AC) current, it can add 20.5 miles of range per hour. That number goes up to 28.5 miles per hour of charge on an 11.5-kW 240-volt charger, while a 240-volt charger with the 19.2-kW kit can add up to 46.7 miles of range per hour.
On the chassis side, the 2026 Cadillac Vistiq features a Multi-Link front and five-link rear suspension with semi-active CDC dampers (Chassis Damping Control), with Air Ride adaptive suspension available. Together, they contribute to the model’s smooth ride and handling, says Cadillac. Enhancing the driving experience is optional Active Rear Steer, which improves maneuverability and shrinks the turning circle, making the 205.59-inch-long Vistiq feel smaller and more agile. 21-inch wheels are standard, while 22s and 23s are optional.
The exterior of the 2026 Vistiq makes for a positive first impression. It’s a visual stunner, as if Cadillac updated the XT6 for a new generation with modern cues, while also giving it a longer dash-to-axle ratio in the process. However, the Vistiq measures 205 inches in length, so it’s considerably longer than the XT6 (198.5 inches). The luxury marque’s signature horizontal and vertical lighting setups are present front and back. Unique styling touches, such as Cadillac’s Mondrian pattern graphics on the third-row windows, add flair. The signature D-pillar sail panel design features modern sail tapers with pillars that thin out at the bottom and widen near the top, creating a distinguished tornado-like shape that honors Cadillac’s sporty heritage. The marque’s Black Crystal Shield patterns set the tone for either a chrome or a monochromatic appearance.
On the tech side, a 33-inch curved display, straight from the Lyriq, is present and accounted for. Below that resides another screen – the Front Command Center – to handle climate control functionality, replacing the Lyriq’s row of horizontally-oriented buttons.
The 23-speaker AKG Studio Audio system with Dolby Atmos is standard. The door cars are similar to those of the Lyriq, but with unique touches, such as the geometric pattern on the speaker grilles. Super Cruise and Night Vision are available, headlining a roster of premium safety and driver assistance features.
All Vistiq trims feature padded armrests for all three rows, as well as smartphone storage, USB-C chargers, cupholders with crystalline lighting, and an intelligent five-zone climate control system. The back of the front console features another screen. That would be the Rear Command Center, which provides HVAC controls for the second and third rows. A large, dual-pane roof spans the first two rows, while a separate glass roof can be added for third-row passenger.
The 2026 Cadillac Vistiq will carry a starting MSRP of $78,790, including destination. At launch, it will be available in three trims: Luxury, Sport, and Premium. А Platinum trim will be offered in the summer of 2025.
Production is slated to begin in early 2025 at the Spring Hill Manufacturing plant in Tennessee. Cadillac plans to sell the Vistiq globally, with the U.S. and Canada markets confirmed thus far.

What kind of name for a luxury car is Vistiq? I get that Lyriq plays of lyric, and Optiq echoes optic, but what the heck is a vistic?
Alex Luft
Vistiq is a play on Vista… a view (of some kind?).

Yeah, I guess. But why not Sceniq, then? And why overlook Epiq, Mythiq, Poetiq? Oh, wait – Hyundai probably already scooped them up.
