Cadillac Experience Center Sydney Announced In Australia

Cadillac is making a comeback to Australia and New Zealand with its lineup of electric vehicles, starting with the 2025 Cadillac Lyriq. Customers will be able to browse Caddy’s lineup at boutique shopping experience centers rather than traditional dealerships, and the first experience center was recently announced in Sydney, kickstarting the luxury marque’s return Down Under.

The Cadillac Experience Center Sydney will be the luxury marque’s first retail outlet in the country. Located in the Rosebery Engine Yards precinct on an 841-square-meter open space, it’s built on the site of a heritage-listed former industrial millhouse and features 12 branded parking spaces, three covered service bays, delivery bays, and high-end service areas.

“It feels natural to bring Australia’s first Cadillac Experience Center to such a contemporary, open, and authentic space. Rosebery Engine Yards has a rich heritage which arms it for the future,” said Managing Director of GM Australia and New Zealand, Jess Bala. “It’s a pleasure to be able to invite guests closer to one of the world’s great brands, where they can experience the luxury evolution of Cadillac firsthand.”

Cadillac Experience Center Sydney is not a traditional dealership, but instead is a place where customers can browse and purchase their vehicle in a luxurious “boutique” setting. It’s just one of a handful of planned boutique shopping facilities for Cadillac in the region, and will be followed by Experience Centers in Melbourne and Auckland, the latter of which will be the first in New Zealand.

With this approach in Oceania, the luxury marque will be able to set itself apart from General Motors Specialty Vehicles (GMSV), an organization operated by Cadillac parent company, General Motors, that is charged with bringing specialty vehicles like the Chevrolet Silverado and C8 Corvette to market. Recently, Cadillac execs have explained why they think the luxury marque will succeed in Australia and New Zealand.
