2024 Cadillac Lyriq vs. Acura ZDX Pricing Comparison

The 2024 Acura ZDX and the 2024 Cadillac Lyriq are closely related siblings, sharing a powertrain and even a production facility at the Spring Hill plant in Tennessee. Despite their similarities under the skin, however, pricing for each model is different, and below, Cadillac Society is comparing how each electric crossover stacks up in terms of pricing.

The entry level model in the 2024 Acura ZDX lineup is the A-Spec, which features a single-motor, rear-wheel-drive powertrain. It starts at $65,850, including the $1,350 destination freight charge. The ZDX A-Spec AWD without performance wheels is priced at $69,580, followed by the ZDX Type S without performance wheels, which starts at $47,680. On the highest end of the spectrum, the ZDX Type S with performance wheels and tires has a starting price tag of $75,850.

For comparison, the base 2024 Cadillac Lyriq Tech is quite a bit more affordable than the entry level Acura ZDX A-Spec, carrying a starting price of $58,590, including the $1,395 destination freight charge, or approximately 11 percent less than the most affordable ZDX. On the other side of the spectrum, however, the Cadillac Lyriq Sport 3 starts at $74,590, which is right on par with the ZDX Type S. 

While the two electric crossovers share the same powertrain, the ZDX and Lyriq have some significant differences. For example, the ZDX features Honda’s infotainment system, which features Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. The ZDX also boasts a Bang & Olufsen 18-speaker surround sound system, whereas the Lyriq gets an AKG 19-speaker surround sound system as standard in the Luxury 2, Luxury 3, Sport 2 and Sport 3 trim levels. A seven-speaker stereo is standard for the Lyriq Tech, Luxury 1 and Sport 1 trims. Additionally, the Acura ZDX has two separate screens, while the Lyriq boasts a curved panel housing a generous 33-inch LED display.

2024 Cadillac Lyriq

Driving range per charge is also slightly different between the two luxury electric crossovers. The 2024 Acura ZDX offers 325 miles of driving on a single charge for the RWD single-motor A-spec trim, or 315 miles for the A-Spec AWD. The Type S and Type S with 22-inch wheels are rated at 288 miles and 289 miles of range respectively. Comparatively, Cadillac Lyriq RWD is rated at 314 miles across all trim levels, while its AWD configuration has a maximum range of 307 miles.
