Someone Spotted This Bright Green Cadillac Celestiq

One of the biggest draws to the Cadillac Celestiq ultra-luxury sedan is the fact that it features an almost infinite number of ways to be customized, as customers can control even the tiniest details, such as which specific tree they want to be used for interior trim elements. That means that the Celestiq can be painted in any color imaginable, and someone recently caught a validation (final testing) unit painted in a very bright green hue.

This chartreuse-colored Cadillac Celestiq has been making the rounds on social media after it was spotted tooling around Woodward Avenue in Michigan. It features a two-tone paint scheme, pairing the almost offensively bright green, officially known as Venom, with a black roof, spoiler, mirror caps and side skirts over black wheels with silver accents. Like it or not, this Celestiq is certainly bright enough to make you stop and stare at an already head-turning vehicle.

Customers are invited to design / customize the Celestiq at the upscale Cadillac House at Vanderbilt. Here, buyers of the Celestiq are guided through every step of their ultra-luxury sedan’s design before the vehicle is assembled at the Artisan Center located on campus, built almost entirely by hand.

Under that chartreuse skin, this Cadillac Celestiq harnesses a 111 kWh battery pack and a dual-motor all-wheel-drive propulsion system, which provides 300 miles of driving range on a single charge while delivering 600 horsepower and 640 pound-feet of torque. It rides on the BEV3 platform, which was developed to exclusively underpin battery electric vehicles.

Pricing for the Celestiq starts at $340,000 – though we find it difficult to imagine someone willingly dropping that kind of money on a bright green one.
