As a reminder, the standard engine in the Cadillac CT4 is the turbocharged 2.0L I4 (production code LSY), rated at 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. This boosted four-cylinder is standard on the Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport trim levels. Vehicles with this engine have wear the 350T badge on the decklid.
The turbocharged 2.7L I4 (production code L3B) is optional on the CT4 Premium Luxury, rated at 310 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. This model can be identified by the 500T badge on the decklid. Pricing for the 2024 Cadillac CT4 starts at $35,990.
Looking ahead, the future of the CT4 beyond the 2024 model year is murky at best. While its larger counterpart, the 2025 Cadillac CT5, has been treated to a mid-cycle refresh, we haven’t seen any evidence that Cadillac will do the same for the CT4, potentially signaling that the discontinuation of the luxury sedan is on the horizon.

This is the SAME as the past few years, and horrible selections at that …Caddy needs to see what the competitors are often offering (or simply offer richer looking interiors like the 2md and 3rd gen CTS and ATS were offering, imho. Even the “refresh” 2025 CT5 has the SAME interior colors. Come on guys, you cant even offer different color interiors for a mid cycle refresh, especially when it is so late? I know it is the bean counters saying “we undersold thousands, and our contracts are for X number of X colors. Lets use what we have left and/or what we are contracted for before we change them.

CT4 was undersold because they were not available. I started looking in January 2023 because my lease was up on my CTS. I could not find one. When I did find a CT4 premium luxery it was in Illinois. Mind you, I was willing to buy it. However, when I contacted the dealership I was told they were not allowed to sell outside the state per Attorney General. Too much paperwork! What! So I ended up finding a Sport (not my first choice, but only choice since my lease was due to expire. I ended up buying used and going to Ohio to pick it up. In the interim, the newsletter said CT4s were slow to sell in China (maybe Mexico) I cannot remember. Well, if that was the case, why did they not bring them here in America. I am quite sure I was not the only Cadillac owner who was looking. In my opinion, bad business practice.

I am aware that the bean counters are saying, “Our contracts are for X number of X colors, and we undersold thousands.” Before we make any changes, let’s make use of what we already have and/or what we are contracted to do.
