Thanks to being a highly sought-after vehicle, the average transaction price (ATP) of the Cadillac Escalade is constantly on the rise, as evidenced by a six percent increase during Q3 2023.
According to a recent report from Cox Automotive, the ATP of the regular-length Escalade was $114,004 last quarter, up seven percent year-over-year, while the extended-length Escalade ESV fetched $116,496 on average, up six percent. The uptick in ATP isn’t unexpected, considering that the high-performance Escalade-V is driving prices upward thanks to its $150,000 starting MSRP.
Last quarter’s result puts Cadillac Escalade ATP in line with the movement in overall Cadillac ATP, as the luxury marque’s ATP increased five percent in the same time period to $74,224.
Escalade sales grew 12 percent to 6,821 units during Q3 2023, while those of the Escalade ESV grew one percent to 3,879 units, indicating that while demand may be leveling out, it’s still very high for the full-size luxury SUV.

Total Cadillac sales increased six percent to 35,638 units overall during Q3 2023. The Escalade, along with the CT5 luxury sedan and Lyriq luxury electric crossover, were the only vehicles in the green, while all other Cadillac nameplates experienced notable downturns in terms of sales results.
Additionally, combined sales of the Cadillac Escalade and Escalade ESV continued to dominate its competitive segment last quarter, accounting for 46 percent of sales volume in the full-size luxury SUV segment. As in prior quarters, sustained growth in Escalade ATP has not had a notable negative impact on sales of the luxury SUV, as the next-closest competitor, the Lincoln Navigator, only sold 4,527 units last quarter, less than half of the 10,700 combined Escalade sales.
