Cadillac Society has learned that the Latte Metallic exterior paint color is no longer offered on the 2023 Cadillac XT6, as the hue has reached the end of its production run.
Latte Metallic (paint code G5D) was officially built out the week of March 6th, 2023. It was offered on all 2023 Cadillac XT6 trim levels for an extra $625, and was able to be combined with all interior colorways, which included the following:
Latte Metallic was first introduced to the XT6 for the luxury crossover’s 2022 model year. At this time, it’s not clear if the color has been discontinued in perpetuity, or if it will become available again for the 2024 model year.
To note, the 2023 Cadillac XT6 also loses the following colors:
The 2023 Cadillac XT6 rides on the luxury marque’s C1 platform and is offered with a choice of two engines. The first is the naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 engine (production code LGX), rated at 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque. This engine is standard on Premium Luxury and Sport models and is identifiable by the 400 badging on the liftgate.
The second is the turbocharged 2.0L I4 engine (production code LSY), which is rated at 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. This engine is offered exclusively in the base Luxury trim, and the liftgate wears the 350T badge to identify the boosted four. Both engines bolt to Cadillac’s nine-speed automatic transmission.
Production of the Cadillac XT6 occurs at the Cadillac Spring Hill plant in Tennessee, and assembly for the 2024 model year is expected to commence in June 2023. Notably, a refresh is expected – but not yet confirmed – for the three-row crossover’s 2024 model year.
