The 2024 model year will represent the fourth model year of the Cadillac XT6, for which it’s expected to get a much-anticipated midcycle refresh. Now, Cadillac Society has learned when production of the 2024 Cadillac XT6 is set to kick off.
According to our intel, production of the 2024 Cadillac XT6 for the U.S. market is scheduled to begin in June 2023, thereby ending the production run of the 2023 XT6 in the middle of next year.
The 2024 Cadillac XT6 is expected to receive a refresh consisting of an updated exterior and interior, along with several other changes. The three-row luxury crossover will continue to ride on the luxury marque’s C1 platform and we expect it to continue to be offered offered with a choice of two gasoline engines in the U.S. market. The first is the naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 engine (production code LGX), rated at 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque. This engine is standard on Premium Luxury and Sport models and is identifiable by the 400 badging on the liftgate.
The second is the turbocharged 2.0L I4 engine (production code LSY), which is rated at 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. This engine is offered exclusively in the base Luxury trim, and the liftgate wears the 350T badge to identify the boosted four. Both engines bolt to Cadillac’s nine-speed automatic transmission.
Pricing for the 2024 Cadillac XT6 is not yet available, but pricing for the base 2023 Cadillac XT6 Luxury starts at $49,990 for front-wheel-drive models; all-wheel-drive brings the starting price to $51,990. The Premium Luxury trim with FWD starts at $56,190, and AWD is $58,190. Meanwhile, the Sport trim is exclusively offered in AWD, and pricing starts at $61,490.
As a reminder, XT6 production takes place at the Spring Hill plant in Tennessee for all markets except for China.

One of four new colors for the 2025 model year.
