New Teaser Images Offer Glimpses Of Cadillac Celestiq Interior

As the full reveal of the Cadillac Celestiq looms, the luxury marque released another series of teaser images, providing a glimpse of what the upcoming flagship sedan’s interior will look like.

In a press release, Cadillac says that the Celestiq interior is designed to create a feeling of openness and spaciousness, while drawing inspiration from periods of the luxury marque’s 120-year history. The teaser images show several close-ups of the interior of the Celestiq show car,  presenting its red-hued seats with a chevron-like patterned insert, a center console, speaker detailing, and the interior door panel with seat adjustment controls.

“The Celestiq exterior and interior were designed together to reflect a holistic vision of what American luxury can be,” said Tristan Murphy, Cadillac interior design manager. “With Celestiq, we’ve created an even higher level of craft, allowing us to add that beautiful sense of movement through the cabin.”

It’s important to note, however, that these images carry a disclaimer stating that they are of the Celestiq show car, and do not necessarily depict features that will be available on the production model. However, as previously reported by Cadillac Society, the upcoming electric flagship sedan will be completely hand-built and customizable right down to the most minute detail. For example, if a customer wants interior trim to be made from a specific tree, Cadillac will make it happen.

The Celestiq will be built in very small batches in order to provide such exquisite attention to detail, and will be the first production vehicle to be assembled at the GM Global Technical Center in Warren, Michigan. Its expected starting price will be around the $200,000 mark, and it will be mainly sold in “affluent” communities.

We’ll provide more details on the Celestiq as soon as we get them. Until then, be sure to subscribe to Cadillac Society for more Cadillac Celestiq news and around-the-clock Cadillac news coverage. We also invite you to join the latest discussions in our Cadillac forums and Cadillac Celestiq forum.
