Two new exterior colors are now offered on the 2023 Cadillac Lyriq.
Joining the color lineup for the 2023 Cadillac Lyriq are Opulent Blue Metallic and Crystal White Tricoat, which are offered alongside Satin Steel Metallic and Stellar Black Metallic, colors that have been available since the luxury crossover’s debut.
As a reminder, the initial units of the Lyriq, known as Lyriq Debut Edition models, were only offered in either Satin Steel Metallic or Stellar Black Metallic. Opulent Blue Metallic and Crystal White Tricoat, meanwhile, are now available to order on series production models, and can be added to Luxury RWD and Luxury AWD trim levels.
The Lyriq Debut Edition has been sold out since last September, when order books filled up in under 10 minutes. Order books for subsequent units opened on May 19th and filled up just as quickly, though interested parties are now able to sign up for the waitlist by placing a fully refundable $100 deposit. Customers who opt to sign up for the waitlist have a chance at getting a 2023 model year Lyriq, or the first opportunity to receive a 2024 model year vehicle.
The 2023 Cadillac Lyriq Debut Edition was offered exclusively with rear-wheel-drive, as it was equipped with a single Ultium Drive motor mounted on the rear axle. That model, along with the Luxury RWD model, makes 340 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque while making 312 miles of range on a single charge. Meanwhile, the Lyriq Luxury AWD model gains a second motor on the front axle, adding more power and facilitating all-wheel-drive. This configuration is capable of over 500 horsepower and 524 pound-feet of torque for an estimated 287 miles of driving range.
Production of the 2023 Cadillac Lyriq Debut Edition is currently underway at the Cadillac Spring Hill plant in Tennessee. Pricing for the Lyriq Luxury RWD starts at $62,900, while the Lyriq Luxury AWD starts at $64,900. While those are the only two trim levels currently available, we expect a more complete trim lineup to become available for the 2024 model year.
