Pricing Revealed For Upcoming 2023 Cadillac Lyriq

Cadillac has revealed the starting price points of both the 2023 Cadillac Lyriq Luxury RWD and Cadillac Lyriq Luxury AWD trim levels.

During a media conference call attended by Cadillac Society, Cadillac announced that the Lyriq Luxury RWD model will start at $62,900, while the Lyriq Luxury AWD trim will start at $64,900, including destination and freight charges.

To note, the Cadillac Lyriq Luxury RWD trim level represents the first model to be made available after the very first Lyriq units, known as the Lyriq Debut Edition, ship to dealers in the coming weeks. The Lyriq Luxury RWD will become available in the fall of this year, and offers a similar set of features and technology as the Lyriq Debut Edition. It will have a single Ultium Drive motor mounted on the rear axle, along with a 19.2-kW charging capacity that nets up to 52 miles of driving range in a single charging hour, while DC Fast Charging allows for 76 miles of range to be added in just 10 minutes. This model is rated at 340 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque.

The Cadillac Lyriq Luxury RWD trim level will roll on a set of 20-inch alloy wheels as standard, while 22-inch wheels are optional. It also has illuminated door sill plates, a hands-free power liftgate, and the Rear Camera Mirror as standard. The Luxury RWD model will not offer the trailering package, and will only be available in two exterior colors: Satin Steel Metallic (paint code G9K) and Stellar Black Metallic (paint code GB8), just like the Debut Edition.

The Cadillac Lyriq Luxury AWD trim level, meanwhile, will make a more impressive 500 horsepower, with a torque rating that has yet to be announced. The AWD trim will have a charging capacity of 11.5 kW, which allows for 37 miles of driving range to be added in an hour of charging time, as well as netting 76 driving miles per 10 charging minutes via DC Fast Charging. It will feature the Trailering prep package as standard, along with non-illuminated door sill plates and a power liftgate without hands-free functionality. While the Luxury AWD trim level will have an auto-dimming rearview mirror as standard, it will not be equipped with the more advanced Rear Camera Mirror.
