The upcoming Cadillac Escalade-V will have a starting price of C$180,000 in Canada.

Specifically, the starting price of a 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V in the Canadian market will be C$179,998. Opting for an extended-length Escalade-V ESV tacks an additional C$3,500 onto the price tag, bringing the starting price up to C$183,498 including destination charges.

This starting price is right on par with that in the U.S., which is $149,990 including destination fees, which Cadillac revealed on May 11th alongside the full powertrain specs of the high-performance luxury SUV.

Speaking of full powertrain specs, the 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V harnesses the supercharged 6.2L V8 (production code LT4), turned to deliver 682 horsepower and 653 pound-feet of torque. The supercharged powerhouse is bolted to the luxury marque’s 10-speed automatic transmission, transferring that power to a full-time active four-wheel-drive system with variable torque splitting capabilities. Cadillac estimates that its new high-performance full-size SUV will be capable of achieving a zero to 60 mph sprint in just 4.4 seconds, and a quarter-mile time of approximately 12.74 seconds at 110 mph.

The Escalade-V is the first SUV to wear the Cadillac V-Series badge, and hosts a plethora of premium features worthy of the designation. It uses Magnetic Ride Control 4.0 dampers as well as an Air Ride Adaptive suspension, both standard. Drivers can customize the vehicle’s handling and other functions, including suspension and steering settings along with brake and throttle sensitivity, via the V-Mode button located just ahead of the gear selector. The electronically-controlled exhaust valves, meanwhile, allow drivers to toggle between a loud, aggressive Sport or Touring exhaust note, or a softer, less intrusive Stealth mode.

The 2023 Cadillac Escalade-V is due to land at Canadian dealerships in the summer.
