2021 Cadillac XT4 Gets New Wave Metallic Color Option

The 2021 Cadillac XT4 adds two new exterior colors to its palette: Infrared Tintcoat and Wave Metallic. Here’s our first look at the new Wave hue.

Availability

Assigned color code GKK and touch-up paint code WA-627D, Wave Metallic is one of two blue exterior color options available for the 2021 XT4, along with Twilight Blue Metallic. Notably, Wave Metallic is brighter and closer to a Royal Blue of sorts, while Twilight Blue is more subdued and closer to a steel blue color.

In total, there are nine available colors for the 2021 Cadillac XT4, which also includes:

• Crystal White Tricoat
• Twilight Blue Metallic
• Radiant Silver Metallic
• Stellar Black Metallic
• Shadow Metallic
• Wave Metallic
• Garnet Metallic
• Autumn Metallic
• Infrared Tintcoat

Notably, Radiant Silver Metallic is the only exterior color option included in the base price of the luxury crossover.

The new Wave Metallic color is not included in the base price of the 2021 XT4, and costs an additional $625, which raises the base price to $37,615, including the $1,195 destination charge. The color is available with all five interior color combinations.

Launch Timeframe

As of this writing, 2021 Cadillac XT4 models are readily available at dealers across the country, since the assembly plant was assembling and shipping the 2021 model to dealers prior to production cuts. While the plant is slated to remain idle until July, recent reports indicate that XT4 production may be moved to the Grand River Lansing plant altogether. 

Models in the Wave Metallic exterior color are currently available in stock. Of course, availability varies from dealer to dealer, so be sure to check with yours for complete details.
