The 2021 Cadillac XT5 adds three new exterior colors to its palette: Wilder Metallic, Dark Moon Blue Metallic, and Infrared Tintcoat. Here’s our first look at the new Infrared option.
Assigned color code GSK and touch-up paint code WA-252F, Infrared Tintcoat is only tintcoat color option available for the luxury crossover. However, Infrared is one of two reddish hues available for the XT5, the other being Garnet Metallic, which is much darker than the Infrared color. In fact, Infrared Tintcoat is the only bright hue available for the crossover. The Red Horizon Tintcoat option was deleted for the 2021 model year, and Infrared is very similar to this previous color option.

The new Infrared Tintcoat color is not included in the base price of the 2021 Cadillac XT5, and carries an additional cost of $1,225. In fact, Satin Steel Metallic is the only exterior color option included in the base price of the luxury crossover.
Infrared Tintcoat is also available in conjunction with all trim levels and interior color combinations except for one – Sedona Sauvage with Jet Black Accents.

As of this writing, dealers are well-stocked with the 2021 Cadillac XT5, since the automaker has been shipping 2021 models to dealers for quite some time now. Models coated in Infrared Tintcoat can already be found on dealer lots. Availability varies by dealer, so check with yours for complete details.
