A few weeks after the 2021 Cadillac Escalade began to arrive at dealerships across the United States, the all-new luxury SUV officially went on sale in Mexico. The completely overhauled Escalade was officially announced in Mexico during a local media event in October, and went on sale in the country during the first week of November.
As such, Mexico becomes the third country to receive the all-new 2021 Cadillac Escalade, shortly after the all-new luxury SUV officially went on sale in the United States and Canada. In addition to the three North American markets, Cadillac has also announced the all-new Escalade for the Middle East.
However, the marque’s flagship utility has yet to be confirmed for China, which has become Cadillac’s largest market by sales volume. In China, however, the Escalade has a fairly limited commercial scope as it is the only Cadillac model that, as of this writing, is not manufactured locally in the country today.
“We are very excited to announce the arrival of the new generation of Escalade in Mexico, as it incorporates the cutting-edge technology, luxury and comfort characteristic of Cadillac, at a level that places it once again as a benchmark in its segment,” said Cadillac Mexico Marketing Manager, Yammil Guaida, in a press release translated by Cadillac Society from Spanish. “When driving an Escalade, Cadillac customers will have a unique experience that elevates the extraordinary,” he added.
During the first stage of launch, the 2021 Cadillac Escalade is available in Mexico in both the regular body style as well as the extended-length ESV variant, but only in the Premium Luxury trim level. The trim is characterized by an elegant jewel grille, chrome body accents, and extensive levels of standard equipment. The Sport model will be launched in a subsequent launch stage.

The industry-first feature offers an innovative instrument panel and multimedia experience. The interior, meanwhile, features multiple advanced technologies and offers an optional 36-speaker high-fidelity AKG Studio audio system.
The 2021 Cadillac Escalade is powered exclusively by the naturally-aspirated 6.2L V8 gasoline engine (production code L87) that produces a maximum 425 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. The powerful engine is mated to Cadillac’s latest 10-speed automatic transmission with the Electronic Precision Shift gear selector.
