With chiseled, contemporary styling, a sprightly rear-wheel-drive platform and powerful turbocharged engines, the Cadillac CT4-V and CT5-V are the kind of sport sedans that excite driving enthusiasts the world over.
Unfortunately, these two sedans were previously only offered in the United States and Canada, but now the sedans are now getting a bit more worldly after Cadillac launched both models in the Middle East this week.
“We are very excited to see the much anticipated CT4-V and CT5-V arrive in the region, bringing to our loyal customers the epitome of modern sophistication and dynamic driving,” Christian Soemmer, Managing Director of Cadillac International Operations and Cadillac Middle East, said in a prepared statement. “The Cadillac CT4 and CT5 are characterized by new proportions and are packed with innovative technologies. The V-Series line-up further complements our performance vehicle range and offer customers seeking high-performance, athleticism and luxurious refinement look for all in one place.”
The Cadillac CT4-V is powered by a turbocharged 2.7L four-cylinder engine (production code L3B), which produces 325 horsepower and 381 pound-feet of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 10-speed automatic transmission, with all-wheel-drive available as an option. The larger Cadillac CT5-V, meanwhile, comes with a twin-turbocharged 3.0L V6 engine (production code LGY) producing 360 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque. Again, the sedan has a 10-speed automatic transmission and standard RWD, with AWD an optional extra.
Both sedans also receive similar sporty styling cues to set them apart from the standard CT4 and CT5, including a black mesh grille, front and rear aero treatments and quad exhaust tips.
The Cadillac CT4-V and Cadillac CT5-V are available to purchase from dealer showrooms across the Middle East now. Pricing details were not immediately available at the time of publication, however.
