The Scene-Stealing Cadillac Models From Film And Television

Back in February, the all-new 2021 Cadillac Escalade made its star-studded debut in Hollywood, California. However, as we all know, the 2021 Escalade’s debut was far from the first time the automaker has graced tinseltown. Now, the automaker is listing off some of the most noteworthy examples of Cadillac models which have been featured in television and film.

Looking over the list, the breadth of television shows and movies that feature various Cadillac models is impressive, covering dramas, comedies, and even animated shows. Likewise, the Caddy’s themselves are impressively varied, including both modern vehicles and classics as well.

Some of the most popular Cadillac models listed include the Cadillac CTS, the Cadillac Deville, and the Cadillac Eldorado. What’s interesting here is that Cadillac as a brand seems to represent a variety of different things in these various pieces of media, including prestige, comfort, luxury, and performance as well.

The oldest Cadillac model in the list is the 1939 Cadillac Series 75, as featured in The Aviator (2004). Meanwhile, the newest model in the list is the 2017 Cadillac XT5 crossover, as featured in both Ocean’s Eight (2018) and Line of Duty (2019).

What’s more, it looks as though Cadillac models are somewhat popular with mobsters, given their appearance in Goodfellas (1990) and the TV drama The Sopranos (1999 – 2007).

If you’re a Caddy fan and you’re looking for something to watch that features your favorite automaker, check out the lists below for some suggestions as to what you should stream next.
