The Cadillac CT5 is Caddy’s latest D-segment model that indirectly replaces the ATS Sedan. In fact, the CT5 is now the luxury brand’s largest sedan model following the departure of the Cadillac CT6 from the North American market. Now, we’re taking a look at this classy four-door draped in an exquisite shade of green.
This particular hue is dubbed Evergreen Metallic, and it’s tagged with color code GJ0, and touch-up code WA-624D. Evergreen Metallic is offered with all five interior color combinations available for the 2020 Cadillac CT5, including:
This is the first time we’ve seen the new Cadillac CT5 in green. To our knowledge, neither the Cadillac ATS nor the Cadillac CTS were offered with green paint, which makes the new CT5 all the more special.
This model is equipped in the Premium Luxury trim level, which sits above the base-model Luxury, and is parallel to the performance-flavored Sport in Cadillac’s Y trim level strategy. That means it comes with a host of visual details that set it apart from the Sport model, including a different grille treatment, red tail lamp housings, bright door handles, and bright window moldings.
In the corners, we see this Cadillac CT5 mounts 18-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels with a Manoogian Silver finish (production code 57R). The 18-inch rollers are wrapped in all-season, self-sealing tires.
We captured this Evergreen Metallic Cadillac CT5 on the lot at Sheehan Cadillac in Pompano Beach, Florida. Indeed, we think it looks quite good in green, with a rich, deep color for the body panels that stands in contrast the the bright treatment for the window moldings, grille insert, and 18-inch wheels. While most luxury cars these days come in white, black, or silver, it’s nice to find one with a little more creativity in the color selection.
Under the hood, this 2020 Cadillac CT5 is equipped with the turbocharged 2.0L inline four-cylinder engine (production code LSY), which produces 237 horsepower at 5,000 rpm and 258 pound-feet of torque at 1,500 rpm. The four-cylinder mates to the 10-speed automatic transmission (production code MHS).
