Cadillac CT5-V Priced From $48,690 In The US

The 2020 Cadillac CT5-V will start at $48,690 when it arrives at Cadillac dealers in the first quarter of next year.

For that price, buyers will receive the automaker’s twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 engine (production code LGY), a 10-speed automatic transmission and an electronic limited-slip rear differential. Rear-wheel-drive is standard, while all-wheel-drive is a $2,600 option.

As we reported previously the Cadillac CT5-V’s 3.0-liter V6 makes an SAE-certified 360 horsepower (268 kW) at 5,400 RPM and 405 pound-feet (550 Nm) of torque at 2,350-4,000 RPM. This is five horsepower and five pound-feet of torque more than Cadillac had originally estimated.
The SAE figures also peg those maximum power and torque figures as being available earlier in the rev band by 200 RPM and 50-400 RPM, respectively.

Other standard equipment offered on the 2020 Cadillac CT5-V includes V-Series performance suspension with fourth-generation Magnetic Ride Control, Performance Traction Management, Vehicle Control Mode with customizable V-Mode, and  Brembo front brakes. RWD models come standard with 19-inch wheels wrapped in summer-only performance tires, while AWD models will feature 19-inch wheels with all-seasons.

A V-Series CT5 is easily identifiable by its gloss black exterior accents, V-Series mesh grille, model-specific rear diffuser and quad exhaust tips. The cabin is set apart by its performance instrument cluster and V-Mode steering wheel toggle.

Cadillac also announced pricing for models with the less powerful version of the twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6, which is offered in the CT5 Premium Luxury trim only. This model, good for 335 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque, will start at $45,190. As we reported previously, the base CT5 with the turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine (production code LSY) starts at $37,890. The 2.0-liter turbo is good for 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. Both the Premium Luxury V6 and all 2.0-liter turbo models come standard with a 10-speed automatic.

Cadillac also launched the online configurator for the 2020 Cadillac CT5 range this week, allowing prospective owners to build and price out their own custom version of the sedan. You can access the configurator at this link.
