2019 Cadillac CT6-V Preorders Sell Out Within Minutes

Last week, Cadillac announced that the 2019 CT6-V will have a starting price of $88,790, and that pre-orderes will be capped at 275 units for the United States market.

Well, those 275 allocations were spoken for within minutes of the pre-order system coming online for dealers.

In case it’s slipped your mind, the 2019 Cadillac CT6-V is powered by the all-new Blackwing V-8 engine making an estimated 550 horsepower (410 kW) and 627 pound-feet of torque (850 Nm). The hand-built engine is mated to an all-new, 10-speed automatic transmission driving all four wheels. The CT6-V also gets a unique calibration of the Magnetic Ride Control suspension.

The $88,790 starting price excludes tax, title, license, delivery, dealer fees, and optional equipment, but  includes includes tuition and luxury accommodation at the two-day Cadillac V-Performance Academy at Spring Mountain. The offer is valid for one year and is reserved for the original owner of each new, unused model.

The 2019 CT6-V arrives in mid-2019. Contrary to prior announcements, Cadillac will not discontinue the CT6 in North America.

  4. I think they should keep it rare. It’ll create buzz and resale values will stay strong.
GM always builds too many and then has to discount later. Don’t give into overbuilding temptation Caddy!!!!!
