Having driven the all-new 2019 Cadillac XT4, we must say that the small crossover is quite a desirable luxury vehicle. And those that are looking to do some towing are in luck, as the new CUV offers an optional towing package.
Now, the XT4 is no tow rig that can pull your camper, horses, and a few stacks of hay to last them a year. After all, the compact crossover has a maximum tow rating of 3,500 pounds. But that might be just enough to tow a pair of jet skis out to the lake for the weekend or perhaps a decently-sized moving trailer. For those looking to do that, Cadillac offers the optional Trailering Package.
The XT4’s Trailering Package includes the following equipment:
Equipping the XT4 with the Trailering Package enables the XT4 to tow up to its 3,500-pound (1,587 kilograms) towing limit.
Assigned production code V08, the Trailering Package is available on every model (trim level) of the 2019 Cadillac XT4 – including the base Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport, regardless if the vehicle is configured with 2WD (FWD) or AWD.
Based on Cadillac’s online configurator, the package costs $300 from the factory.
Happy driving, and even happier towing out there!
