Cadillac Brings Vehicles To Interested Customers For A Test Drive In Russia

In today’s increasingly busy world, carving out time to visit a dealership to test drive a car can quickly fall by the wayside, prompting Cadillac to launch TakeaWayDrive, a new program that delivers a vehicle for interested customers for the purpose of a test drive when and where they desire.

To request a vehicle for a test drive, customers fill out a form on the Cadillac website and specify a time and location where they would like to conduct their test drive. Those who prefer to pick up the phone can do so as well. The automotive prestige luxury brand handles the rest: a Cadillac consultant will arrive with the vehicle, provide the interested party with a detailed overview of the car, and then ride along for the test drive.

Currently, the program only handles the Cadillac XT5 crossover and is available in Moscow, Russia (within the limits of the capital city’s Ring Road).

Cadillac Society Says

This is a great idea that appears to be targeted at business people and families, and we can see it going far if executed with meticulous levels of professionalism and customer service. The Russian luxury vehicle space is dominated by imported German vehicles from the typical suspects, and Cadillac should capitalize on this program not only in Russia, but also in all other markets in which it has a presence.
