tstopParticipantI placed my deposit in May of 21. I was told I was going to get a 22. Then it went to a 23. My dealer has told me that production is currently under constraint, and that I am at the top of the list when constraint opens up. I’ve never heard of constraint within production before. I’ve been buying cars for over 50 years. Like you, at this point, I would prefer just to get the 24. I picked up a 2019 C7 a few months back. I’m going to enjoy the spring and summer driving the Vette. I still really want to get my hands on that BW but it is getting more and more frustrating. What’s everyone’s thoughts about the new name, Blaqwing?
tstopParticipantI ordered my black wing in May 2021. I did order it with carbon fiber and the number of other packages. I was originally told I would have the car before the end of the model year. It is now 20 months since ordering the car. My dealer moved the production year I was going to receive from a 22 To 23 and now to 24. I’m not sure if I’m ever gonna see this vehicle.
tstopParticipantI’ve had my blackwing on order since February 1921. I have gone from being told that I was going to receive 2022 model now being told it’s going to be 2023. I have been given no production date. I was originally told that the 2022s going to be the last internal combustion engine model Cadillac was going to make. Based on the inconsistent flow of information coming from Cadillac, it seems they are going to continue to make internal combustion engines through at least 2024. I have been given absolutely no additional information about which model here I’m going to receive, as well as any indication as to when the car is going to be built. I’m starting to feel more like I should cancel this order. I don’t know if the car I will ultimately receive will have the same value that the car I ordered was supposed to have.
