hello,
i recently leased a 2020 XT4 Premium Luxury. within a few days, i noticed that the driver’s side view mirror randomly adjusts by itself. i’ll re-adjust it, save it to the driver 1 profile, and then randomly it will adjust itself again, either moving all the way to the right, or to the left.

i took it to the dealership, who had it for three days, and they could not duplicate the problem. when we picked it up, we did a test and started and stopped the car four times, and two times (50% of the time) the side view adjusted itself again. so the problem persists and it’s a safety issue.

has anyone else encountered this problem? thus far, there have been no recalls for this issue.

Hello ryguy, not sure if you figured it out in the end, but the first thing I would check is that the key fob you are using is the same as the seating/mirror position you want. I have a 2021 XT4 Sport and had the same issue, basically driver who has memory seat #1 settings should be using key fob #1, and driver who has memory seat #2 settings should be using key fob #2. The car will automatically pick up which fob is in the vehicle when you first start the car and adjust the seats and mirrors. Having both sets of keys in the vehicle can add to the confusion as well, so when you first start the car, make sure to select your user profile on the infotainment screen so the vehicle knows.
